Where would I find some good ideas/recipes so I can make my girlfriend a romantic dinner?

My girlfriend has been really down lately and I want to give her a romantic evening tonight when she gets home from work by making her a nice dinner. I can cook but she’s not eating meat right now, but she is eating fish. Also I’m between jobs right now so I don’t have much money to spend. Any good websites with ideas or internet cookbooks I could use.

Thank you everyone.

Sauteed or scallops, with a salad, some grilled garlic bread and don’t forget the chocolate.

You will find other great recipes on this site.

As for the chocolate, go to the market and buy a slice or two of cake. Nothing beats a nice piece of cake when you are down. Very kind of you. Good luck on the job search.

It really doesn’t matter what you cook as long as you make it special. Buy chocolate, oysters, flowers, sparkling wine, use a tablecloth and cloth napkins, use candles, dress up, write a poem ( it doesn’t have to be good as long as you mention her name). Its the thought that counts here not the food per se.
    Thats Romance.
P.S. make sure you use the word love a few times.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesean is very easy and always a crowd pleaser. It takes less than 10 minutes from start to finish. Get the recipe at http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Broiled-Tilapia-Parmesan/Detail.aspx.
Serve it with some wild rice and a steamed vegetable (you can even get veggies that you steam in a bag in the microwave) and you are good to go. Probably cost you less than $10 for the whole meal.
For dessert you can go to your local bakery and get a couple of individual baked goods – they make decorated cupcakes, fudge – they may even sell cake by the slice.
