What kind of chocolate would you use to make chocolate covered popcorn, like a drizzle over it?

Can I use choc chips; and should I wait for the popcorn to cool down first? Thanks.

    Chocolate-Covered Popcorn

Pop a few bags of microwave popcorn, butter and salt flavors work best.

You can use either melting chocolate from a candy making store, or chocolate chips.

Melt chocolate in microwave (16oz. at 60 sec.) stir, and reheat if necessary by 20 second increments, until smooth.

Put popped corn in either a gallon size zip-lock bags. Pour melted chocolate into bag and shake.

Spread the coated popcorn onto a wax paper covered cookie sheet. You can let air dry, which takes longer, or I put it in the refrigerator until hardened.

Once hard, break apart in small clumps.

You should use something called almond bark it comes in regular chocolate and white chocolate. it is in the baking isle. it works really well since it gets hard when it cools.
