i gave up smoking 1 month ago, as my dad died from lung cancer recently, i now have a really bad chest ?
is this common, im coughing up green phlem and have hot and cold sweats, i got some anti biotics from the doctor, but im scared it could be something more serious, because i have never felt this ill?

If you went to the doctor and got antibiotics, what did the doctor say you have? Or didn’t you bother to open your mouth to ask?

You don`t say how long you have smoked.
Green phlegm is a bad sign.
Check with google the damage smoking can do to the lungs. Just type in something like `smoking. Lung damage”.
My wife died of lung damage through a lifetime of smoking. Her last six years were awful: she was attached to a nebulizer, and could not have lived 10 minutes without it.
