I am not a smoker but I have Trichotillomania so I know what you mean by difficulties in giving up bad habits.

    Hang in there.

I quit more than six years ago. It was the first time I’d actually “tried” to quit and no, I didn’t use any aids except will-power

I had to try several times, the last attempt was about 25 years ago and I haven’t smoked since! Good luck to you 🙂

ZIPPO!! Have never smoked. Very bad for you. Had a couple of relatives die of lung cancer. If you are trying to quit—good luck!

It is a hard habit to kick. I kicked it when I got pregnant. Our daughter is three weeks old and I have not started back because I am breastfeeding. But everyday I crave it so badly. I am switching her to formula because I will be going back to work soon, and I am looking foward to a cigarette.

When I was pregnant, the smell of cigarette some was sickening. Now I chew on a lot of ice and it helps.

If you really want to quit, ask your doctor about Chantix. It blocks chemical receptors in the brain, and eliminates your cravings. It worked for me.

Well I dont need to worry about quiting, cause I was smart enough to never start. You dont need to quit something you never started. I never said yes to a cigarette, and am very proud about it.
