			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>i am starting to workout and its about time i realize i need to loose weight&#8230;i gained alot of weight when i was with some of my obese friends who eats nothing but fast food, go to buffet almost every dinner time, and play sport once in a long while and get tired very quickly. i hav not so bad arms, my wrist is kinda small and my shoulders are really really muscular like alot of body builders. i am 5&#8242;5, weigh around 190s, have big BIG belly with love handles, man boobs that rests on my belly, and my neck is just getting bigger. i use to be around 160s 2 years ago until i met my obese friends in a new city. i dont really blame 100% to them because i should know what i need to do, but still they were not much of help. i need motivation, and my bro is a wrestling champ in high school but he&#8217;s too busy with his own life to give time to me, help me loose belly, love handles, boobs, thighs and neck&#8230;&#8230;.and help me gain muscles all over my body, its a cry for help so HELP&#8230;&#8230;.PLZZZZZZZZ.</p>

I still fit in the shorts I wore in 7th grade and live a pretty active life style.  I happily live in a community where it is easier to walk and bike than drive, I regularly go swimming and am learning to surf.  I usually eat healthy fresh food.  </p>
<p>I spent the last month and a half interning in an impoverished community.  The only local eats are the usual fast food crap, subway, burger king, checkers.  I sometimes bring my lunch, but about 2-3 times a week I didn&#8217;t.  So I ate out at the crap food (usually subway) with the other interns.  I know this sounds dumb, but I don&#8217;t usually gain weight, so I didn&#8217;t really think about it.  Needless to say, I gained about 15lbs.  I&#8217;m very unhappy as I realize it is easy to gain weight but not so easy to loose it.   </p>
<p>I have started doing cardio at the gym for half an hour everyday in addition to my usual routine and have cut out the junk food.  (If I don&#8217;t bring lunch, I don&#8217;t eat.  This has motivated me to start packing everyday.)  Otherwise I&#8217;m not changing my eating habits except perhaps by forgoing the occasional icecream.  How quickly can I realistically lose the 15lbs?  I&#8217;d like to be back to my normal weight before I go back to graduate school in the fall as I will probably not be able to make it to the gym everyday then.</p>

So how can i go about losing weight quickly but in a healthy way? I heard the 6 small meals really works, I really like cheese sandwiches and they&#8217;re only 100 calories each cause the bread is 40 and the cheese is 60 and I&#8217;ve been having that for three meals each day, should i have a balance of more stuff, is it possible to give me a little guide i can follow and maybe i can switch it up a little with some other foods that go in that category? Please don&#8217;t judge me, i already know that&#8217;s a stupid thing to do and I&#8217;m going for the healthy approach now, so please just help me out. I&#8217;m 15 and turning 16 in a month and i want to lose some weight I&#8217;m about 110, 5&#8242;0</p>

I think istarted to lose weight drastically when I moved to colorado. We have been living at 7500ft for about 3 1/2 to 4 years now. Ive always been skinny but i never lost weight so quickly . My doctor cheked my thyriod and said its &#8220;normal&#8221; although he didnt give me the results. I am a smoker, but ive smoked since i was 16 and never had this kind of weight problem, i dont use drugs like speed or meth or coke anything like that. Ive never had a eating disorter. The only thing i do do is smoke weed every now and then, and if anything it helps me eat more. I just dont know what to do, Ive tried ensure,and protien shakes and it doesnt help. Any suggestions? There is all this stuff out there to help you lose weight but what about the other way around? Any suggestions? </p>

<p>I also don&#8217;t really have access to a gym, but I have been running for like 30 minutes every other day and I usually do like 250 sit ups before I go to bed and before I wake up.  My stomach is getting a bit flatter too.  My goal is just to get some defined abs.  </p>
<p>2)  Is this effective enough, and is there anything else I should be doing?</p>
<p>3)  How long do you think it would take to get some good abs?  Weeks?  Months?</p>
